Ravenwolf Manor Vent Server
The Online Status Tool
lets you see who's on
the server at anytime.

Heyas Everyone,

If you are playing City of Heroes or City of Villains and have been directed to this page, just follow the easy steps below and you'll be chatting with us on our Ventrilo server in no time.

Ventrilo is a VoIP software platform that allows members to communicate with each other in real time. If you are on a team with us and the text chatbox is a little quiet, you know where we are. During gameplay, we will not require you to use Vent, but strongly recommend it.

We use this software for more than just gaming in City of Heroes and City of Villains. It is open to and used by all members of Ravenwolf Manor and our guests to keep in touch and chat.

Chatting with us on our Vent Server and your membership at Ravenwolf Manor Forums is completely free. While we do allow guests to access our systems, we recommend that you join as a member to ensure your full privileges.

~Shadow Ravenwolf~

  2. Click on the "->" button that is next to the first pulldown window called "User Name". This will open a new window where you can create a logon name to be used when connecting to a server.

  11. Click "OK" to return to the Ventrilo main window.

  12. Click "Connect" to establish a connection between you and the server you just defined.

  13. You should also click on the Setup button and configure all of the different options that control Ventrilo. This is very important when it comes to controlling the microphone or input source. Once in the Setup dialog click on the "Help" button. Be sure to read what all of the options are and what they mean. This is very important for the Voice page.
